Founder's Story

From Passion to Purpose

Aarshiya Singh is a high school sophomore in the Chicago suburbs — and a dedicated student-athlete, aspiring physician, and community health advocate. She is the founder of ProjectMedMinds, a registered Illinois not-for-profit organization.

"I believe meaningful change starts at the community level. ProjectMedMinds is our platform to empower people with the medical knowledge they deserve." — Aarshiya Singh, Founder

With 6 American Red Cross certifications — from CPR/AED to First Aid for Severe Trauma — Aarshiya brings real emergency preparedness to every initiative she runs. Her hands-on experience volunteering at Advocate Condell Medical Center gives her both practical skills and a compassionate perspective on community health needs.

As an active member of HOSA (Future Health Professionals), she participates in medical competitions and workshops that deepen her preparation for a career in medicine. Through Key Club, she leads and participates in community service initiatives in surrounding areas.
