ProjectMedMinds is a youth-led, registered not-for-profit organization in the state of Illinois, based in Buffalo Grove. It was founded by Aarshiya Singh, a high school student who holds 6 American Red Cross certifications and is an active HOSA and Key Club member. The organization is entirely volunteer-run and dedicated to improving health literacy and supporting seniors in the community.
How can I volunteer with ProjectMedMinds?

There are two ways to get involved: (1) Volunteer at one of our own community events like blood drives — check the Programs page for upcoming events that need volunteers. (2) Find medical volunteer programs near you using our Volunteer Finder Tool, which searches hospital and clinic opportunities by zip code. Yes! ProjectMedMinds is an officially incorporated Not-For-Profit organization in the state of Illinois. Our Articles of Incorporation have been approved and recorded with the Illinois Secretary of State's office. We are committed to full transparency and are a fully operational volunteer organization serving the Buffalo Grove and Lake County communities.
I'm a student — can I earn volunteer hours through ProjectMedMinds?

Yes! Students can earn community service hours by volunteering at our events. We can provide written confirmation of hours completed upon request. We also encourage students to explore our Volunteer Finder Tool to discover hospital and clinic programs that specifically count toward NHS, Key Club, or HOSA requirements.
